In case you missed it, here are my notes from the November 2012 Fishtown Neighborhood Association meeting.  If I missed anything, eh, oh well.

- no mischief night 

- 26th district: 35 incidents / 25 auto incidents (

- eyes and ears:911 call, call again if needed, ask for a supervisor

- hotspots: Front and Norris 

- 911 calls affect police prescense

- calling more at once: ups severity

David Fecteau: city planning commission (level 3)

- neutral until it goes to the 

- creates official comprehensive plan (18 planning districts, Fishtown is river wards district)

- Fishtown: small meeting 

- write zoning bills for city council 

- new zoning code: took 4 years, major idea: get rid of variances 

- chandpges: 

-- civic associations are mandatory, legal 

-- day care lobby (allowed in more places, three classifications

-- Fishtown overlay: skate under relations if food is not prepared at site. Restaurants still need to be zoned

--Industrial (can't live in except for industrial/residencial lofts, transitory development)

--Commerical districts (cmx2: most common)

-- Residential (R5a, RM: most common, rentals aren't zoning issue)

--Parking: issue when you change uses.  More impact, gotta change parking.  Row home - no parking required

-- ICMX: industrial/commercial mix 

--remapping: write city councilman, owners
